Questions about files, printing and frames.

No. Every LayoutLab product is a digital download. Nothing is shipped to you, and frames are not included. You print the files yourself, at home or at a print shop.

You buy on Etsy. As soon as your payment is confirmed, Etsy sends you an email with a download link, and the files are always available under Purchases in your Etsy account. Most files come as ZIP files: open them on a computer to see the JPG or PDF files inside.

At home on a good inkjet printer, at a local copy or print shop, or through an online photo lab. For large sizes, a print shop or online lab gives the best result. Upload the file in the ratio that matches your frame and choose a matte or fine art print.

For art prints, matte paper of 200 gsm or heavier gives the best colour. Calendars and planners print well on matte paper of 120 to 200 gsm. The games print on plain paper; use card stock for bingo cards and cut-out cards. Always print at 100% or actual size, or choose “fit” rather than “fill” so nothing is cropped. Colours can vary slightly between screens and printers.

Art prints and one-page calendars include five print ratios:

Some files are optimised for a smaller maximum size, such as the gallery wall bundles of six, which print sharply up to 16x20 in or A2. Planners, the monthly calendar and the games come as PDFs in A4 and US Letter. Each product page lists exactly what you receive.

To choose a file, measure the opening of your frame: a 30x40 cm frame takes the 3:4 file, an A3 frame the ISO file and an 8x10 in frame the 4:5 file.

Yes. You can print your files as often as you like for your own home and as gifts, for example a new copy of a planner page or a second set of game cards.

Digital downloads cannot be returned or exchanged, because the files are available immediately after purchase. If a file is damaged, missing or does not print as described, use the contact form or message the shop on Etsy and you will get a corrected file or a replacement.

No. The room photos are mockups that show how a print can look framed. Frames, mats and furniture are not included.

Yes. You may print the files for your own home or as a gift. Reselling, sharing or redistributing the files or prints made from them, digitally or in print, is not permitted. See the terms and conditions for the full licence.
