What you receive
High-resolution JPG files at 300 DPI, covering the 2:3, 3:4, 4:5, 11x14 and ISO (A5 to A1) ratios.
5 ZIP files with 15 high-resolution JPG files (300 DPI) plus a printing guide (PDF):

Note on the largest sizes: to keep the downloads compact, the 2:3 files are 5400x8100 px (300 DPI up to 18x27 in, about 225 DPI at 24x36 in) and the ISO files are 5963x8443 px (300 DPI up to A2, about 250 DPI at A1). Both print sharply at normal viewing distance.
Printing
Print at home on matte paper (200 gsm+), at a local print shop or with an online print lab. Choose "fit", not "fill". Colours may vary slightly between screens and printers.
About this design
Each crystal started as a single frozen cell on a hexagonal grid. Water vapour drifts between the cells and freezes wherever it touches ice. By changing just three numbers (diffusion, background vapour and vapour supply), the same rules grew three very different crystals:
- No. 1 Fern Star: six slender arms with fern-like side branches
- No. 2 Lace Star: a star with an inner ring of lacy branches
- No. 3 Sector Plate: a hexagonal plate with ribbed sectors
Pale ice on deep midnight navy, with a soft glow where each crystal drew vapour from the air. A quiet winter set that stays up long after the holidays.
