About this design
Each month page starts with a small sky chart: the bold line is the sun's path across the sky on the 15th, from sunrise to sunset, drawn between the dashed paths of the longest (21 June) and shortest day (21 December). You see how many hours of daylight there are and how high the sun climbs at noon, so the year visibly grows and shrinks. The calendar grid has roomy boxes for your plans, the main moon phases (new, first quarter, full, last quarter) and a notes area. The cover shows all twelve sun paths together. Sky values are calculated for 52° N (Amsterdam, London, Berlin); every date has been checked (2027 is not a leap year; 1 January is a Friday).
